広島東照宮

Located in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Tōshō-gū is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. It was established in 1648 by the local lord Ashino Mitsumune at the foot of Mount Futaba. The site serves as a primary guardian for the castle town and hosts various traditional events, including seasonal festivals and a grand portable palanquin procession held every 50 years since the Edo period.
