Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum

The Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum stands beside Shukkeien Garden in central Hiroshima. Its collection includes more than 5,000 works, with particular strengths in art connected with Hiroshima, modern Japanese and Asian craft, and art of the 1920s and 1930s. Large windows frame views of the neighboring garden, linking the museum’s galleries with one of the city’s historic landscapes.
