稚内市立ノシャップ寒流水族館

Located in Hokkaido, the Wakkanai Noshappu Aquarium was established in July 1968 as the 100th aquarium in Japan and is recognized as the northernmost aquarium in the country. The facility allows visitors to see fish and seals that live in the cold northern seas. It is part of a complex called Wakkarium, which includes the adjacent Wakkanai City Youth Science Museum.
