Kyoto City Heiankyo Sosei-Kan Museum

Kyoto City Heiankyo Sosei-Kan Museum focuses on the history and culture of Heian-kyo. Official materials note a permanent Heian-kyo scale model expanded in a 2018 renewal, plus hands-on displays about aristocratic dress and pastimes. The museum also hosts special exhibitions on Kyoto history, including a 20th-anniversary show of the Yamada collection covering the early-modern and modern periods.
