Kitano Tenmangū Hōmotsuden

北野天満宮宝物殿

Located in Kyoto, the Kitano Tenmangū Hōmotsuden is a museum building constructed in 1928 to house and display various sacred treasures. The facility features a blend of Japanese and Western styles, including a coffered ceiling and chandeliers. It houses numerous items of high artistic value, such as ancient documents, paintings, swords, lacquerware, metalwork, and tea utensils. Notable holdings include the Kitano Tenman-enki Emaki, which is designated as a national treasure.
