Kamigamo Shrine

賀茂別雷神社

Located in Kyoto, Kamigamo Shrine is a Shinto shrine that houses approximately 14,000 historical documents dating from the Heian period to the Meiji period. The site holds various traditional rituals and festivals, including the Kamo no Mai Kagura performed during the Kamo no Mizumatsuri festival in July. The main hall of the shrine is designated as a National Treasure.
