御薬園

Oyakuen, the Aizu Matsudaira Clan Garden, is a national scenic garden with more than six hundred years of history in Aizuwakamatsu. Official pages trace a Muromachi villa by a sacred spring under Ashina Morihisa, later shaped as a daimyo garden by Hoshina Masayuki and expanded with a medicinal herb garden for epidemic care under the second lord.
