Tenkyokaku is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property Western villa at Inawashiro, designed in a Renaissance-inspired style. Official pages promote it as a frequent drama and film location and a sightseeing stop near the lake, with year-round opening and seasonal hour changes. Temporary closures may occur for heavy snow, bear sightings, or year-end periods. Because of its historic status it is not fully barrier-free; confirm admission fees and today’s open status before you go.
