Yosano Akiko Memorial Museum

与謝野晶子記念館

The Yosano Akiko Memorial Museum is located in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. It honors the life of poet and author Yosano Akiko, who was born in Sakai and became known for works such as the poetry collection Midaregami and the poem Kimi Shinitamau Koto Nakare. In addition to her poetry, she contributed modern Japanese translations of The Tale of Genji and wrote commentaries on social issues and education.
