Located in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, the Shimano Bicycle Museum was reopened in March 2022 as a successor to the first bicycle museum in Japan established in 1992. The facility features expanded exhibition areas showcasing the history of bicycles from their origins through various development periods. It includes specialized zones such as "The Beginning of Bicycles," which uses panoramic videos and physical displays to illustrate the evolution of bicycles, and sections exploring the relationship between people and bicycles from scientific and environmental perspectives.
