Opened in 1879, Ōhama Park is the oldest city-managed park in Sakai City. Historically, it served as a venue for the 5th National Industrial Exhibition in 1903 and hosted facilities such as an aquarium and public hall. Today, the park functions as a space for sports and recreation, featuring a baseball field, outdoor pool, gymnasium, tennis courts, and a sumo wrestling ring.
