Yatsushiro Furusato Park

八代ふるさと公園

Located on a hilly area where the Misaka highlands and Kofu Basin meet in Yamanashi Prefecture, Yatsushiro Furusato Park features zones for experiencing history and nature. The grounds include the Kofun Hiroba, which contains some of the prefecture's prominent burial mounds, as well as Sakura no Mori and Shinsui Hiroba. Popular features include a view from the Okachusuzuka Kofun and a linear motorcar observation deck. A renovated play area includes large equipment inspired by ancient pottery and kofuns.
