Menkoi Museum of Art in Oshu opened on 26 April 2001 as a casual place for viewing, showing, and making art. Official pages highlight permanent displays of paintings by Mizusawa-born Seijiro Sasaki and a world swallowtail butterfly specimen collection, with free admission, hours 9:00–17:00, and Tuesday closures.
