Sakai Knife Museum

Located in Sakai City, the Sakai Knife Museum provides an overview of the history and manufacturing methods of Sakai cutlery. The exhibition uses actual items, models, and illustrations to explain production processes, raw materials, and various types of knives designed for different tasks such as cutting meat or fish. A notable feature is the HIBANA chandelier, which represents the progression from forging to sharpening using approximately 300 knife materials.
