Manriki Park

万力公園

Manriki Park, also called Manyo-no-Mori, is a roughly 14-hectare urban park along the Fuefuki River in central Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture, built around pines and mixed woodland. More than 110 plant species cited in the Manyoshu appear seasonally along the Spring, Summer, and Autumn Routes, with Manyo poetry steles throughout. The free-entry animal plaza introduces about 40 species including capybaras, raccoons, and maras. The park also offers lawn plazas, barbecue facilities, and a tea house. Groups of ten or more should reserve in advance.
