釈迦堂遺跡博物館

Shakadō Museum of Jōmon Culture in Yamanashi Prefecture presents the Shakadō site, where Jomon people produced roughly 30 tons of pottery and clay figurines. Of these finds, 5,599 pieces are designated Important Cultural Properties, including 1,116 figurines counted among Japan's largest single-site totals. The designated Shakadō artifacts form part of the Japan Heritage story Starry Central Highlands Jomon World. The museum's official site also hosts special exhibitions such as Stone x TOOLS and offers chairing, borrowing chairs to view the Southern Alps and Kofu Basin from the site.
