Komorokougen Museum (Komoro Highland Museum of Art / Hakucho Eiseki Museum) at Hishidaira 2805-1, Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture (postal code 384-0041; telephone 0267-26-2070) opened on 7 October 1998 and presents works by nihonga painter Eiseki Hakucho in a hexagonal tower landmark. Official city pages list hours from 9:00 to 17:00, or until 16:00 from December through March. Admission is 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for elementary and junior-high students, with group rates of 400 yen and 200 yen for parties of 20 or more. Closed on Mondays except public holidays, the day after public holidays, and from 29 December to 3 January. Confirm exhibition fees before travel.
