Saku Children's Science Dome for the Future

Saku Children's Science Dome for the Future (sakumo) at Iwamurata 1931-1, Saku City, Nagano Prefecture (telephone 0267-67-2001) is a hands-on science museum that opened in 2001 and offers more than 40 permanent exhibits plus a planetarium renovated in 2018 that can render about 8000000 stars. Official pages currently operate two sessions without advance booking for individuals: 9:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 16:30, and state the museum is closed on Thursdays and from 29 December to 1 January, with holiday exceptions announced on the site.
