末盧館

Located in Saga Prefecture, Matsurokan is a museum constructed to commemorate the Naruta site, which is recognized as Japan's oldest rice cultivation site. The building was designed with the image of an ancient elevated warehouse and displays information regarding the origins of rice farming in Japan. The grounds include a plaza where features such as pit dwellings from the earliest rice-farming villages, the oldest paddy fields, and a Jomon forest have been reconstructed.
