Isawa Local Museum

奥州市立胆沢郷土資料館

Located within the Isawa Culture Creation Center in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture, the Isawa Local Museum introduces the history and folklore of the Isawa region. The museum displays various items including stone tools from approximately 30,000 years ago, stone knives from the Yayoi period, and haniwa figures excavated from the Kakozuka kofun.
