Located in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, Kushihiki Hachimangū served as the general guardian of the Nanbu Domain since the Kamakura period. The shrine grounds are characterized by a serene atmosphere protected by towering cedar trees. The site is recognized for its cultural significance, housing several historical buildings and treasures, including the National Treasure Red Thread Armor (Akiiwa Yoroi) and other items designated as Important Cultural Properties.
