Hacchi is the nickname of Hachinohe Portal Museum, a five-story downtown cultural hub at Mikka-machi 11-1, Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture (telephone 0178-22-8228). Official facility pages list open hours from 9:00 to 21:00. The whole building is closed on Tuesdays (the next day if Tuesday is a holiday) and on December 31 and January 1; Kodomo Hacchi has an additional year-end closure from December 29 through January 1. There is no general visitor parking—use nearby lots. Tenant shop hours may differ from building hours. Confirm special open days and events on the official site before travel.
