Oarai Isosaki Shrine stands at Isohama-cho 6890 in Oarai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, telephone 029-267-2637. Official pages enshrine Onamuchi no Mikoto and Sukunahikona no Mikoto, record their descent at Kamiiso in Saiko 3 (856), and note that Tokugawa Mitsukuni ordered reconstruction from Genroku 3 (1690) completed in Kyoho 15 (1730) for the present honden, haiden, and Zuishinmon. The seaside Kamiiso torii marks the sacred landing shore, now a town symbol and sunrise viewpoint; the rocky shore itself remains off-limits. Goshuin book sales are currently suspended. Confirm prayer reception and parking before travel.
