Kokuō Shrine

国王神社

Kokuo Shrine in Iwai, Bando City, Ibaraki Prefecture, enshrines Taira no Masakado and stands at Iwai 951, postal code 306-0631. Official pages state that the shrine was founded in Tenroku 3 by Masakado's third daughter, Nyozoni, and that more than a thousand years have passed since that founding.
