Hitokotonushi Shrine stands on Mount Mitake at Otsukado-cho 875 in Joso City, Ibaraki Prefecture, postal code 303-0045, telephone 0297-27-0659. Official access pages place it about 40 kilometers from central Tokyo, with taxi rides of about 20 minutes from Moriya Station and 15 minutes from Mitsukaido Station, or about 15 minutes by car from the Joban Expressway Yawara Interchange, plus free parking. The city-designated main hall was rebuilt in Choroku 3 (1459) and heavily repaired in Genroku 13 (1700); the worship hall was rebuilt in Keio 3 (1867).
