Yatsugatake Museum (Chino City Yatsugatake Museum) at Toyohira 6983, Chino City, Nagano Prefecture (postal code 391-0213; telephone 0266-73-0300) presents natural history, local culture, and related programs at the foot of the Yatsugatake range. Official visitor pages list hours from 9:00 to 16:30. Individual admission revised on 1 October 2025 is 400 yen for adults, 300 yen for university and high-school students, and 200 yen for junior-high and elementary students, with group rates of 300 yen, 200 yen, and 150 yen for parties of 20 or more. Closed on Mondays (the following day when Monday is a holiday), on the day after public holidays under listed shift rules, and from 29 December to 3 January. Confirm temporary closures before travel.
