Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha

Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha is the head Sengen shrine at Miya-cho 1-1, Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture (postal code 418-0067; telephone 0544-27-2002), about a 10-minute walk from Fujinomiya Station. The shrine precincts currently remain open for worship, and regular prayer reception runs from 8:30 to 15:50. Prayer offerings start from 5000 yen for most intentions, 6000 yen for yakuyoke, and 10000 yen for company rites; group worship for 10 or more starts from 1000 yen per person. Shrine parking is paid; during the New Year rush, bus parking is unavailable from December 28 through January 12, so use city temporary lots when directed. Confirm busy-season access before travel.
