Dazaifu Exhibition Hall

Located in Fukuoka Prefecture, the Dazaifu Exhibition Hall is a museum situated at the site of the former Dazaifu government office. This area served as a major political and diplomatic center for Kyushu from the late 7th century through the Nara and Heian periods. The facility preserves and displays portions of archaeological remains discovered during excavations, while using artifacts and models to introduce the history and culture of the region.
