Located in Miyagi Prefecture, the Takeyama Rice Retailer House and Museum of Rice Cookery is a facility that focuses on rice cooking and history. The museum is housed in a renovated storehouse and features permanent exhibits including various types of rice cookers from traditional pots to modern models, as well as tableware from the Meiji and Taisho periods.
