Meihou Rekishiminzokushiryoukan

Meihou Rekishiminzokushiryoukan in Meiho, Gujo, Gifu Prefecture, holds about 47,000 items, including roughly 3,500 Important Tangible Folk Cultural Properties such as a handmade postwar battledore. Exhibits include many winnowing baskets and measuring boxes, plus a white-painted former Meiho Elementary School auditorium used as a drama location. Hours are 10:00-16:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays; from December to March it opens Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only, closed 27 December to 4 January. Admission is 220 yen, 150 yen for groups, and free for pupils.
