Gujō Hachiman History Museum

郡上八幡まちなみ交流館

The Gujō Hachiman History Museum was completed in March 2020 to introduce the history, culture, and preservation activities of the castle town. A portion of the Kitamachi district within the city was designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in 2012. The facility features panels and videos detailing the area's development since the early modern period, including its reconstruction after a major fire in 1919 and the construction of Hachiman Castle.
