Located in a quiet residential area of Kamakura, Sasuke Inari Shrine is situated between Zeniarai Benzaiten and the Great Buddha of Kamakura. Known as a hidden village, the shrine grounds feature many white foxes. It was an offshore subordinate shrine of Tsuruoka Hachimangu for a long period before becoming independent in 1909.
