Izu Music Box Museum closed permanently on 18 September 2023, according to its official site, which states the museum ended operations after about 28 years since opening in 1995. Before closure it was an antique music-box museum near Izu-Kogen Station in Ito, Shizuoka (1191-1 Yawata-no, Ito City, 413-0232), displaying about 130 music boxes, automatic instruments, and phonographs. The facility is closed and no longer open to visitors; do not plan a visit.
