野坂オートマタ美術館

Nosaka Automata Museum in Ito, Shizuoka, displays European automata across two floors with scheduled live demonstrations. The museum is currently open 9:30 to 17:00, with last entry at 16:00. The regular closed day is Thursday, but it opens if Thursday is a national holiday; during special exhibitions, Obon, year-end and New Year periods, and throughout August there is no closed day. Admission is 1000 yen for adults, 600 yen for junior and senior high school students, and free for elementary school age and under. Demonstration times are normally 11:00, 14:30, and 16:00, plus 13:30 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. A 2026 Obon special exhibition runs August 9 through August 15. It is about a 15 to 20 minute walk from Izu-Kogen Station.
