Tensha-en is a large daimyo garden in Ehime Prefecture. Originally part of a coastal mansion, it was redesigned as a retirement residence for the seventh lord of the Uwajima Domain and named Tensha-en in 1866. This pond-and-spring strolling garden features extensive plantings of bamboo, wisteria vines, and iris flowers.
