Located in Tome Town, Miyagi Prefecture, this museum is housed in a unique Western-style wooden building. Originally constructed as a prefectural office in the late 19th century, it later served as an elementary school and a courthouse. The facility currently displays materials regarding the history of the region's formation and records from its time as a court.
