Located in Miyagi Prefecture, the Police Museum is housed in a former police station building completed in 1889. This wooden structure was designated as a prefectural cultural property in 1988. The museum displays materials related to police work and includes a reconstructed detention center from the construction period. It is noted for being the only site in Miyagi where a modern police station building and a fire-watching tower remain together.
