電電宮

Located in Kyoto, Denden-gū is a Shinto shrine associated with the electrical industries. The site was converted into its current form in 1956 and includes the Denden-to Pagoda constructed that same year. The shrine was refurbished in 1969 to commemorate Expo’70. An association was established in 1979 to honor those who pioneered electricity and radio waves. The site holds an annual Grand Festival of Dendengu on May 23.
