Akō Marine Science Museum

赤穂市立海洋科学館

Located in Hyogo Prefecture, the Akō Marine Science Museum features four zones where visitors can learn about the ocean and salt. The adjacent facility, known as Land of Salt, is one of the largest salt field restoration sites in Japan. Visitors to the museum are also provided with a free experience in making salt. The entrance lobby includes an undersea globe and offers views of various types of salt fields.
