Ako Folk Culture Museum

Located in Hyogo Prefecture, the Ako Folk Culture Museum is housed in a Western-style building from the Meiji era. Constructed in 1908 as an office for the Salt Administration, it is recognized as Japan's oldest such facility and was designated a tangible cultural property by the prefecture in 1986. The museum displays items related to daily life, agricultural tools, and craftsmen's equipment, including tools for carpentry, coop making, and blacksmithing, alongside historical documents and post-war electronics.
