Lake Suwa Museum, officially the Shimosuwa Town Lake Suwa Museum and Akahiko Memorial Hall, presents Lake Suwa culture and poet Shimaki Akahiko. Official town pages list hours from 9:00 to 17:00 with last entry at 16:30, admission of 350 yen with group discounts for 20 or more, and closure on Mondays, the day after national holidays, and year-end holidays, with Monday opening when Monday is a holiday. The building was designed by architect Toyo Ito. Confirm temporary closures before travel.
