Tanaka Honke Museum in Suzaka opens the merchant Tanaka family’s holdings in a vast estate dating from 1733, with about 3,000 tsubo of grounds ringed by some twenty storehouses. Official pages currently feature the folk-tools exhibition “Tanaka Honke no Komingu-san” (11 July–7 September 2026), free admission for junior-high students and younger in summer, cafe Ryusen overlooking a 230-year-old sara tree, and autumn Edo-period meal events.
