Jōshin'etsu-kōgen National Park

上信越高原国立公園

Jōshin'etsu-kōgen National Park is a large mountain-and-highland national park spanning Gunma, Niigata, and Nagano prefectures. Ministry of the Environment pages list designation on 7 September 1949 and an area of 148194 hectares. The park stretches from Tanigawa-dake at 1977 m and Naeba at 2145 m through Kusatsu-Shirane at 2160 m and Azumaya at 2354 m to Mount Asama at 2568 m.
