旧秋田藩主佐竹氏別邸
Joshitei is a garden in Akita City with origins dating back to the Genroku era between 1688 and 1704. It was developed by Yoshimasa, the ninth lord of the former Akita Domain, and named Joshitei. Historically regarded as a peerless garden in the Tohoku region, it served as both a private retreat for the lord and a gathering place for literary figures. The site is designated as a national scenic spot.
