Shinkotoni Shrine is located in Kita Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Established in May 1887 when the first company of the Army Tonden Infantry settled in the area, it serves as a guardian deity for development. The shrine enshrines three deities: Amaterasu Omigami, Toyouke no Okami, and Emperor Jimmu. It is a site where people offer prayers for academic success, commerce, bravery, and safe childbirth.
