Sapporo Beer Museum

Located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, the Sapporo Beer Museum is recognized as the oldest beer museum in Japan. The facility showcases the history of Sapporo Beer from its origins in the 1876 development of Hokkaido through the Meiji era to the present day. The museum and the adjacent Kaitakushi-kan building are designated as Hokkaido Heritage sites for their brick architecture dating back to the Meiji period.
