The Yayoi Museum in Bunkyo, Tokyo, was founded in 1984 to preserve and present the work of illustrator Takabatake Kashō. Its collection also covers Japanese illustrators, magazines, book design, and popular visual culture from the late Meiji period through the postwar era, and it is connected to the neighboring Takehisa Yumeji Museum.
