Yama no Aquarium

Located in Hokkaido, Yama no Aquarium features a variety of aquatic life from local rivers and tropical regions. The facility includes unique exhibits such as the first dome-shaped tank where visitors can view a waterfall from below and a world-first tank that freezes during winter to showcase fish living under ice. Other displays include large native fish like Ito and various tropical species raised in hot spring water.
