Miyagi Gokoku Shrine

Located in Miyagi Prefecture, Miyagi Gokoku Shrine is a Shinto shrine that features the Spirits of War Memorial hall. Opened in 2004, this memorial hall displays the legacies of over 56,000 war heroes to preserve their history for future generations. The shrine grounds also offer traditional wedding ceremonies and various prayers for safety and prosperity. During the Sendai Tanabata period, the site is planned to display special decorations within its grounds.
