Sendai Castle Site is a historic castle site in Sendai associated with Date Masamune, the founder of the Sendai domain. The grounds include his equestrian statue, one of the site's best-known landmarks. The surviving site offers a direct connection to the history of the Date clan and the development of Sendai.
